Following the Port of Beirut explosion in August 2020, Agility was asked by International Health Partners (IHP) to assist with a series of shipments of critically needed medical supplies. For the first shipment, Agility helped with movement of eight containers and 11 pallets of medications, including antibiotics, anti-infectives, and treatments for diabetes and hypertension, and provided storage at London’s Heathrow Airport, as well as relabeling, packaging, handling and air freight to Beirut. The medications will be distributed on the ground by ANERA, one of IHP’s local partners, which works with the refugees and vulnerable Lebanese populations. The first shipment is expected to help over 9,000 beneficiaries.
