In response to the pandemic, a European defence ministry decided in March to evacuate military families stationed in Kenya as part of an ongoing training mission there. The MoD contacted Agility Defense & Government Services to move the belongings of families into temporary storage. Agility DGS obtained critical government permission allowing vehicles and packing crews to move to and from Nairobi and the training headquarters 200 kilometers away. Agility DGS found local accommodations for the crews and briefed crew members on social distancing and COVID-19 health and safety procedures. Work began quickly and continued through the Easter holiday.
