- Hong Kong – While not yet enacted, the government of Hong Kong is eying new COVID-19 measures which could impact Cathay Pacific Airways’s current cargo capacity by up to 25% (and as much as 60% of passenger capacity). The potential regulations involve the 14-day quarantine of flight crews followed by seven days of medical surveillance. Agility is preparing contingency plans involving alternative airports in South China (Guangzhou and Shenzen) and diversification of freight allocation now.
